Explore the most beautiful sites on the Dalmatian coast. Start your walking adventure from Dubrovnik, first on the list of UNESCO World Heritage site on your tour. Enjoy walking along amazing city walls, built between 13th and 17th century. Your next destination is National Park Mljet where except the hike in the shades of pine trees you will have the chance to visit St.Mary's islet located on the Great Lake. Korčula town, charming medieval fortified town, will be your home for the next two nights. Inside the picturesque Old town of Korčula, you can enjoy the real Mediterranean cuisine and wandering along the town you can find the house where Marco Polo was born. Another destination on your way is Hvar town. Except for this most famous tourist destination on Adriatic, you will enjoy the hike from the top of the island along abandoned villages to the coast where small gastro gems, beautiful beaches, and crystal clear sea are hidden in secluded bays on your way. Walk through UNESCO site of Stari Grad plain, an old Greek colony settled in 4th century B.C. Finish your adventure in another UNESCO World Heritage site of Diocletian's Palace in Split, a living monument to Roman architecture, 1700 years old. Walk in Park Forest Marjan and enjoy evenings with locals in hectic but charming alleys inside Split old town! 
 

ITINERARY

DAY 1 – DUBROVNIK

Welcome to Croatia! Upon arrival in Dubrovnik, relax and wander along the alleys in the Old town. In the afternoon you will meet our staff for tour briefing. For the rest of the day, don't miss walking the city walls and enjoying Mediterranean specialties in one of the numerous restaurants in this unique UNESCO site.

DAY 2 – Mt. SRĐ & ISLAND MLJET

This morning you are hiking to Mt.Srđ. From the Fort Imperial on the top of the hill you will have the best view of Dubrovnik and surrounding islands. There you can find Museum of Croatian War of Independence. The main museum themes include Dubrovnik in the Croatian War of Independence 1991 - 1995 and the history of Fort Imperial. Once you return to Dubrovnik you are going to Island Mljet.

DAY 3 – NATIONAL PARK MLJET

Today you will have the chance to enjoy walking along the shores of two salt lakes on Island Mljet. Shade of pine trees and beaches will provide enough freshness during the hike. For lunch, there is an opportunity to take a boat to St.Mary's islet located in Great Lake where you can find restaurant Melita. On this islet you can also find Benedictine monastery with the church of Saint Mary. In the afternoon you are going to Korčula town, the hometown of Marco Polo, the famous world traveller and the place where his silk road began.

DAY 4 – ISLAND KORČULA

Island Korčula used to be a Greek colony, dating back to the 4th century and known as Korkyra Melaina (Black Korčula). Nowadays, the island is famous for the production of the best Croatian white wines - Pošip and Grk.
The hike today will take you through the nature park with some amazing rock formations and 
wild life. The walk itself is very peaceful and relaxing, in an unusual, but the +very pleasant landscape for Dalmatian karst region. The area contains dolomite rock formations and is very densely wooded. The hike through the nature park will lead you to the ancient Napoleon path and walking along olive groves, small vineyards and beautiful fields of sage, oregano and other healthy herbs. The hike ends in the village of Pupnat, where you will have the option to enjoy a unique lunch prepared by Farac family. Most of the ingredients they use in meals grow or are grown in the fields you walked through.
You can spend the afternoon in the town of Korcula and explore its cobblestone streets, whitewashed buildings and other architectural masterpieces made in Gothic and Renaissance style.

DAY 5 – ISLAND HVAR

This morning you are leaving Island Korčula and your next destination is Island Hvar which is rated as one of the "top ten most beautiful islands in the world" according to Traveller Magazine! Cultural and historical sites, lavender fields, crystal clear turquoise waters, charming villages 
and towns are just some of the highlights this island offers to its visitors. Starting the hike from the top of the island through picturesque villages of Velo and Malo Grablje you will reach a charming bay, an ideal lunch and swim stop. The next part of the hike is along the coast giving you the opportunity to stop for a swim on any of the secluded beaches along the way before reaching Hvar town.

DAY 6 – STARI GRAD PLAIN – UNESCO World Heritage Site

Stari Grad Plain on the Adriatic island of Hvar is a cultural landscape that has remained practically intact since it was first colonized by Ionian Greeks from Paros in the 4th century BC. The original agricultural activity of this fertile plain, mainly 
centring on grapes and olives, has been maintained since Greek times to the present. The site is also a natural reserve. The landscape features ancient stone walls and trims or small stone shelters and bears testimony to the ancient geometrical system of land division used by the ancient Greeks, the chora which has remained virtually intact over 24 centuries. Your hike today will take you from Jelsa on the west towards Stari Grad on the west. In the afternoon you are taking a ferry to Split, founded from the Diocletian's Palace, one of the best preserved monuments of Roman architecture in the World, 1700 years old.

DAY 7 – SPLIT

Start your walk along the coast, passing couple of beautiful bays and beaches, follow 
trail which leads you to Marjan Park forest, the famous recreational place for citizens of Split. Discover many charming churches and trails with amazing views on Split, sea and nearby islands.
Later in the 
evening, we suggest to continue your walk and discover the old walls and basement of the Diocletian’s Palace, now recognized on UNESCO’s World heritage list, where you can find numerous cafes and restaurants serving fresh Mediterranean food!
